How many youthful hearts long to be free from the bondage of the modern days? How many young people wish they could stand firm for what they believe in but are afraid of what their friends will think of them? How many thirst for God but indulge in worldly things in the quest to fill the emptiness in their souls and desperately seek acceptance from those around them...

At times when we step back from all this craziness and think about our lives, we hear a soft voice that's too familiar to our hearts - one that brings a sense of peace and fulfillment when we do as it leads. Deep down we want to reach out but we hold back when we think of yesterday and tomorrow: "what I did yesterday is unforgivable. How can God forgive me for that?" "tomorrow I'll probably give in to temptations so sweet I don't think I can overcome"... often, it seems easier to ignore the still small voice, to drown it with everything else that makes our heart ache with the want to live right. We put a front that we are comfortable with who we are becoming while when alone we cry out and pray that someday things will change and God will sustain the salvation from our fleshly desires and pleasures of this world.

We forget God knows our hearts and intentions. We forget who has the master plan; forget that pressures of this world will never cease with age. Forget that there's nothing this world has to offer will satisfy our inner most desires… the longing to meet our essence and reach our destiny. We can hide behind the mask we are choosing to wear now but when we lay in bed awake staring at the ceiling, we'll know the truth about us, our desires, our shortcoming, our hearts and above all our desire to live right in accordance to our creator.
